Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller will play a key role in strengthening the finance function during a period of systems modernization and operational change. This individual will help improve financial processes, enhance reporting and forecasting, and support ERP optimization while working closely with leadership.

• Support day-to-day accounting operations and assist with financial oversight.
• Responsible for daily cash management.
• Assist the CFO in the cash flow forecasting process.
• Assist with the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Business Central ERP and Print Biz.
• Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and implement efficient financial procedures

• Support month-end and year-end close processes
  , ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Partner with leadership across finance, HR, and operations to improve financial reporting and workflows.
• Help build dashboards and reporting tools to provide better operational insights.
• Maintain compliance with financial controls and reporting standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 5–7 years of accounting or finance experience
  , ideally in a small-to-mid-sized company.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Business Central ERP

• Exposure to data analytics, dashboards, or AI-enabled reporting tools
• Ability to operate effectively in an evolving environment with some manual processes

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Background in manufacturing, printing, or production environments
