We are seeking a strategic and operationally-minded Finance Manager to lead a high-performing financial team within a premier academic medical center. This is a Direct Hire opportunity for a leader with deep expertise in clinical finance and medical group operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for the financial health and reporting of medical group activities, overseeing a team of three Senior Financial Analysts
. You will serve as a key advisor to clinical leadership, translating complex data into actionable financial strategies.
Dallas, TX (Hybrid: 3 days in-office / 2 days remote)
CompensationStarting at $115,000+ (Commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Leadership & Team Management- Direct Supervision: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three Senior Financial Analysts.
- Work-Life Integration: Enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule (3 days in-office). While there is flexibility based on team needs, remote days are generally structured so that the team is present for key bookend days (avoiding both Monday and Friday as remote days simultaneously).
- Clinical Finance Oversight: Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for a large-scale medical group.
- Decision Support: Provide clinical leadership with detailed analysis regarding physician productivity, revenue cycle performance, and departmental expenses.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and specialized clinical reports.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows and enhance data accuracy within the clinical setting.
- Strategic
Collaboration:
Partner with department chairs and administrative leaders to align financial goals with clinical mission objectives.
- Experience: Proven experience in clinical finance, specifically supporting medical group operations or physician practice management.
- Leadership: Prior experience managing or leading professional-level financial staff (Senior Financial Analysts or equivalent).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or MHA preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, ERP systems, and data visualization tools.
- Communication: Ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial clinical stakeholders effectively.
