Production Accountant​/Analyst

Primary responsibilities are to generate and review project cost reports to forecast revised estimates of final production costs for the animation department. This role will assist the Production Finance Manager to track all costs by maintaining and providing detailed cost information.

• Prepare weekly cost reports and variance analysis and related reports
• Meet with production team to review variance analysis on cost reports
• Validate that production costs and purchase order requests are within budget
• Liaise with Controller to update estimates on production
• Compile and prepare documentation for production tax rebates
• Responsible for manual invoicing per payment schedules for A/P and A/R
• Follow up with clients for receipt of payment
  
  Assist with month‑end close as required
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from accredited four‑year college or university is required
• Strong excel skills, including a strong knowledge of pivot tables, vlookup, hlookup etc.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail is a critical skill
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• 3 years experience in a similar role
• Able to thrive in a high pressure, deadline‑oriented environment
