Position: Financial Advisor | Lead The Market

Overview

Retire Simply is a Fort Worth–based retirement planning firm focused on a documented, written-plan process. We work with pre-retirees and retirees to help them make clear decisions around income planning, investments, and protection strategies.

This role is designed for an advisor who prefers to spend their time in client meetings and plan delivery—not cold prospecting. Our marketing team supports the office by generating qualified retirement appointments, and our service/operations team supports implementation and client onboarding.

Compensation

Base salary + percentage of revenue generated (based on product mix).

What You’ll Receive
  • Qualified, scheduled retirement planning appointments supported by a dedicated marketing operation
  • A structured written-plan process with clear meeting flow and deliverables
  • Platform flexibility across fee-based investments, fixed indexed annuities, and life insurance (recommendations based on client fit)
  • Service and operations support for paperwork, follow-up, and onboarding
  • Opportunity to serve as a lead advisor as the Fort Worth office continues to expand
Responsibilities
  • Conduct discovery and retirement planning meetings with clients (typically ages 50–75)
  • Build and present written retirement plans, including income, investment, and protection recommendations
  • Provide guidance and implementation support across investment and insurance solutions as appropriate
  • Maintain a consistent planning and follow-up process to drive client outcomes and satisfaction
  • Coordinate with service and operations to ensure a smooth client experience from onboarding through review meetings
  • Contribute to improvements in the advisor workflow, client experience, and office growth initiatives
Qualifications

Required/Preferred:

  • Active Life & Health insurance license
  • Active Series 65 or 66
  • Prior success in retirement planning and client-facing plan presentation
  • Strong consultative communication style and ability to explain complex topics clearly
  • Comfort incorporating annuities and insurance when appropriate within holistic planning
  • Experience working in an appointment-driven or inbound lead environment
  • CFP® designation (or currently pursuing)
