Accounting Manager

Seeking an Accounting Manager to join an expanding corporate team. This is a key manager‑level role supporting a massive national real estate portfolio and helping modernize and rebuild internal capability around property tax processes. It is ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys ownership, improving processes, and working cross‑functionally within a high‑performing finance organization.

• 5+ years experience in property tax and real estate accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX requirements, with experience supporting monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes.
• Strong accounting foundation with experience managing complex processes
• Hands‑on experience with accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement support
• Proven ability to prepare and analyze monthly property tax accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Experience reviewing work of offshore/outsourced teams
• Track record of implementing process improvements and best practices within the property tax function.
• Ability to produce ad hoc financial analyses for management reporting, audits, and strategic decision‑making.
• CPA is preferred
