Perm - Leadership - Director of Finance; Dallas, TX

$61.06 – $103.85 per hour
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a Director of Finance – Foundation to provide strategic oversight and maintain the financial integrity of its Foundation. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and serves as a liaison between the Foundation and the hospital system. Although this is a Director-level title, the role functions in a hands‑on managerial capacity. The ideal candidate must be willing to work directly within financial systems, review ledgers, and support operational needs as required.

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends
• No on-call

• Oversee financial operations.
• Develop and manage annual budgets
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls
• Manage and support grants accounting processes
• Lead, train, and evaluate finance staff
• Improve operational workflows and efficiencies
• Develop departmental goals aligned with organizational objectives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of financial leadership experience
• Minimum 4 years of non‑profit sector experience
• Healthcare finance experience (large hospital preferred)
• Grants management experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls

• Master’s degree (MBA, Accounting, or Public Administration)
