Investment Banking Associate

A leading global investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate with a strong background and interest in the software sector. The Associate will play a critical role in executing M&A transactions, equity and debt financings, and strategic advisory assignments for public and private software companies.

This role is ideal for candidates with prior investment banking experience and a passion for analyzing software business models, recurring revenue dynamics, and technology-driven growth strategies.

• DCF, LBO, and accretion/dilution analyses
• SaaS-specific metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40)
• Prepare and review pitch books, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and board materials
• Conduct in-depth industry and company research across enterprise software, vertical SaaS, cybersecurity, AI, and cloud platforms
• Manage due diligence processes, including coordination of data rooms and third-party advisors
• Interface directly with clients, legal counsel, accountants, and senior bankers
• Oversee and mentor Analysts

• 3–5 years of investment banking experience (Associate level preferred)
• Prior experience covering software or broader technology sector strongly preferred
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and subscription-based revenue models
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Transaction experience in enterprise software, fintech infrastructure, cybersecurity, or AI
• Familiarity with public software company valuation frameworks and capital markets dynamics
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
