Wealth Management

At Goldman Sachs, we connect people, capital and ideas to help solve problems for our clients. We are a leading global financial services firm providing investment banking, securities and investment management services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and individuals. For us, it’s all about bringing together people who are curious, collaborative and have the drive to make things possible for our clients and communities.

Operations is a dynamic, multi‑faced division that partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside this vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation. Operations span all product lines and markets, and functions.

We are seeking a highly strategic, execution‑oriented Chief of Staff to support a large‑scale transformation program within Wealth Management Operations. This role acts as a force multiplier for the program leader—driving alignment, governance, execution discipline, and communication across business, operations, technology, risk, and external partners.

The ideal candidate combines consulting‑level problem solving with operational know‑how in wealth management, strong stakeholder influence skills, and the ability to turn strategy into measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Transformation Executive to define, refine, and execute the program roadmap
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans with clear milestones and success metrics
  • Monitor progress across multiple work streams and proactively resolve risks and blockers
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational objectives
Governance & Operating Rhythm
  • Establish decision frameworks, escalation paths, and accountability structures
  • Maintain program dashboards, KPIs, status reporting, and executive materials
  • Drive disciplined execution and transparency across stakeholders
Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Serve as the central coordination point across Operations, Technology, Product, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Business leaders
  • Break down silos and ensure dependencies are managed effectively
  • Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and alignment meetings
Change Management & Adoption
  • Support organizational readiness and change initiatives
  • Partner with HR and Communications on adoption strategies
  • Help embed new operating models, processes, and ways of working
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 8 – 12 years of experience in management consulting, financial services, or transformation roles
  • Strong knowledge of Wealth Management and/or Financial Services Operations
  • Proven experience supporting senior executives or leading complex programs
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and program reporting tools
