Director of Fund Accounting

• Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO
• Strengthen accounting processes, reporting quality, and organizational efficiency
• Lead and develop the accounting team with clarity and accountability
• Provide thoughtful analysis and insight into fund performance

• Oversee accounting and reporting for multiple real estate funds, joint ventures, and REIT entities
• Own the month end close process and multi-tier consolidations
• Ensure GAAP compliant financial statements and footnotes
• Oversee capital structures, debt activity, and credit facilities

• Prepare and review capital calls, distributions, and quarterly investor reporting
• Support audit and tax processes
• Oversee cash management, wires, and liquidity planning
• Partner with leadership to ensure timely and accurate reporting to investors

• Serve as the primary Yardi expert and internal resource
• Improve workflows, controls, and reporting processes
• Support complex partnership and investment accounting matters

• Active CPA license
• 12 plus years of progressive accounting experience
• Real estate fund accounting experience
• Strong technical expertise in partnership and investment accounting
• Experience leading and developing accounting professionals
• Advanced Excel skills
• Hands on Yardi experience preferred
• Professional presence and strong communication skills
