- Strengthen accounting processes, reporting quality, and organizational efficiency
- Lead and develop the accounting team with clarity and accountability
- Provide thoughtful analysis and insight into fund performance
- Oversee accounting and reporting for multiple real estate funds, joint ventures, and REIT entities
- Own the month end close process and multi-tier consolidations
- Ensure GAAP compliant financial statements and footnotes
- Oversee capital structures, debt activity, and credit facilities
- Prepare and review capital calls, distributions, and quarterly investor reporting
- Support audit and tax processes
- Oversee cash management, wires, and liquidity planning
- Partner with leadership to ensure timely and accurate reporting to investors
- Serve as the primary Yardi expert and internal resource
- Improve workflows, controls, and reporting processes
- Support complex partnership and investment accounting matters
- Active CPA license
- 12 plus years of progressive accounting experience
- Real estate fund accounting experience
- Strong technical expertise in partnership and investment accounting
- Experience leading and developing accounting professionals
- Advanced Excel skills
- Hands on Yardi experience preferred
- Professional presence and strong communication skills
