We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our organization’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various accounting disciplines, including GAAP, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and corporate finance. The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective financial management across departments.

- We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to helm our financial operations. This role is essential to ensuring fiscal responsibility and compliance within our organization’s financial framework.
- Ideal candidates will showcase extensive expertise in a variety of accounting fields including GAAP regulations, corporate finance, governmental accounting practices, and non-profit financial management.
- Candidates should bring a high level of technical accounting expertise coupled with strong leadership abilities. A deep understanding of financial concepts, accompanied by familiarity with accounting software solutions, is critical for steering the organization's financial activities.
- A robust background of 5 or more years in either public accounting or corporate financial environments is required, especially with regard to financial statement preparation and general ledger management.
- Thorough knowledge of technical accounting standards, particularly GAAP, is required for this position, while an understanding of SOX compliance is also preferred to uphold financial governance.
- Candidates must have experience with financial software, such as Sage or Xero, and must demonstrate proficiency in crafting and interpreting financial reports to aid decision‑making processes.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, especially in mentoring and supervising accounting teams, is crucial for fostering team effectiveness and quality outcomes.
- A comprehensive understanding of securities laws, compliance with regulatory reporting, as well as tax guidelines, audit procedures, and advanced financial analysis techniques will be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical skills and the capacity to apply effective financial strategies to complex fiscal scenarios, along with a keen eye for detail, are essential traits for success in this influential position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in corporate or public accounting environments with a focus on financial statement preparation and general ledger reconciliation.
- Proven expertise in technical accounting standards such as GAAP; familiarity with SOX compliance is essential.
- Strong background in specialized areas such as LIHTC programs, non‑profit or governmental accounting is highly desirable.
- Experience with financial software platforms like Sage, Xero, or similar systems is required; proficiency in financial report writing and interpretation is necessary.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring or supervising accounting teams.
- Knowledge of securities law, regulatory reporting requirements, tax experience, audit procedures, and financial analysis techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to apply sound financial concepts to complex situations with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
