Associate Wealth Advisor | Dallas, TX (Total Compensation: ~$80,000–$120,000)
Sage Search Partners is seeking an Associate Advisor for a boutique wealth management firm in Dallas, TX. This in-office role supports lead advisors by helping deliver high-touch financial planning and client service to affluent and high-net-worth households, with a strong emphasis on retirement-focused relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and Series 65, plus 1–5 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, investment operations, support, client service, or a similar advisory environment, and must bring a portable book of business (ideally ~$20M or less). CFP designation is a plus!
Responsibilities- Support lead advisors in delivering planning-led relationships, including meeting preparation, follow-ups, and proactive service.
- Gather and maintain client financial data to support planning work (assets/liabilities, cash flow, goals, and investment details).
- Assist with planning deliverables such as retirement projections, capital sufficiency analyses, and scenario modeling.
- Help implement and monitor investment strategies, including allocation tracking, rebalancing support, and coordination around trading workflows.
- Contribute to tax-aware planning by collecting inputs, assisting with projections, and helping incorporate tax considerations into recommendations.
- Support estate and risk management efforts through document review, summaries, and tracking action items with clients and advisors.
- Draft client meeting materials, summaries, and presentation content; ensure accurate documentation in CRM and client systems.
- Coordinate account service needs with custodians and outside partners to ensure timely, high-touch execution.
- Provide investment research support across equities, fixed income, and other securities as needed.
- Recommend and help implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and elevate the client experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Series 65 required (active or able to meet the requirement promptly, depending on current status).
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in financial planning, wealth management, investments, support, client service, or a similar advisory environment.
- Portable book of business required; ideally approximately ~$20M or less.
- Comfortable interacting with clients directly and representing the firm with professionalism and confidence.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills; high attention to detail and follow-through.
- Team-oriented, relationship-driven mindset with a client-first approach to service.
- CFP® designation (completed or in progress) is a plus.
- Ability to work 100% in-office in the Dallas area (clients value in-person accessibility).
