Financial Controller

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on Controller role suited for an experienced accounting leader who enjoys operating close to the business. The Controller will own day-to-day accounting operations while partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership to strengthen financial controls, improve visibility, and support broader organizational objectives.

The role offers meaningful exposure to multi-entity accounting, cash flow management, and systems optimization within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

• Own and deliver a timely monthly close, including reconciliations and GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Manage multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting
• Lead cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and billing accuracy
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, tax compliance, and audit readiness
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with the CFO
• Oversee job costing, inventory controls, and project-level financial tracking where applicable
• Optimize and maintain core accounting and operational systems
• Act as a finance partner to non-financial leaders, translating financial results into business insights
• Manage and develop the accounting team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within mid-sized, privately held or PE-backed businesses
• Experience with multi-entity environments and B2B services models
• Strong systems experience (ERP and operational tools); exposure to job costing or percentage-of-completion accounting is a plus
• Hands-on leader with strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence across functions
