Manager of Accounting - Services Firm

We're working with a High-Growth Consumer and Distribution Services Firm. They are seeking a Strategically driven professional within their Controllership team. This professional will be assisting Finance and M&A Teams along with Executives throughout their businesses. Will be responsible for all Corporate Accounting Financial Operations - Month-End, Reporting, Budgeting, Analysis, Supporting Audit, Finance, and Tax Teams. Reporting to head of Team, this professional will be working with Executives, COO, and Sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, P&L for Month/Quarter/Year-End accounting close and financial reports
• Responsible for Revenue, Margins and Cost tracking metrics discussed with stakeholders across the business
• Owner of cash management function including forecast, monitor and track cash flow reports while identifying and evaluating variances.
• Review customer invoicing processes and contractual agreements to reconcile revenue.
• Perform key elements of the financial cycle and supporting subsidiary processes.
• Manage detailed variance and fluctuation analyses.
• Assist FP&A with accounting interpretations for budgeted transactions
• Assists in the annual audit.

Skills/

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a must, CPA preferred.
• 6+ years accounting experience out of Public Accounting or Private Accounting team is a plus
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Revenue Recognition is needed
• In depth experience working with general ledger and financial analysis, including journal entries and doing detailed account analyses.
