Senior Associate – Private Credit

A leading middle-market investment firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Private Credit investment team in Dallas, TX. The role provides significant responsibility across underwriting, execution, and portfolio management, with a focus on structuring and managing asset-based and other bespoke credit solutions.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite private credit investments, with an emphasis on asset-based financing
  , including collateral analysis and downside scenarios.
• Build and maintain credit and cash flow models
  , borrowing base analyses, and valuation support.
• Lead and coordinate financial, operational, legal, and collateral due diligence in partnership with external advisors.
• Prepare investment memoranda and credit committee materials
  , and support ongoing portfolio monitoring.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, or investment banking
  .
• Strong background in asset-based lending and related due diligence processes.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced, deal-oriented environment.
