A growing financial services firm is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations within a dual-registered Broker-Dealer and RIA environment. This role reports directly to the CFO and plays a key part in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strengthening accounting processes.
Job Responsibilities- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings
- Oversee GL, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and revenue tracking (commissions & advisory fees)
- Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and process improvements
- Act as a key contact for auditors, regulators, and vendors
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including BD and/or RIA exposure
- Experience in dual-registered firms and regulatory reporting
- Strong knowledge of SEC, FINRA, and state regulations
- Understanding of commission and advisory fee structures
- Advanced Excel and accounting systems proficiency
