Our client provides detailed tax planning, outsourced accounting services and wealth management services via a concierge/family office model that positions their clients for savings and for success. They aim to be on the leading edge of new technologies and work closely with (1) business owners who need help with personal and entity tax planning and/or (2) high net worth individuals with tax planning opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Professional and timely client communication
- Manage all processes related to tax return preparation for clients
- Planning, preparation and review of all federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and non-profits
- Financial statement analysis with ability to recommend adjustments needed for tax purposes
- Ability to meet with clients to discuss tax returns, tax planning and strategies
- Represent Clients before the IRS
- Analyze IRS notices and draft/review responses prepared by other personnel
- Create/review work papers, as needed
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, from an Accredited Institution
- Masters in Tax or Finance Preferred
- 5+ years tax experience preparing complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and non-profits;
Tax Forms 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120-S and 990. - Ability to utilize technology and software related to tax preparation and project management
- Quick Books desktop and online experience
- Self-motivated, reliable, ethical with high energy
- Ability and desire to manage teams
- Strong Communication skills with clients and professionals, both verbally and written
- Act as the point of contact on behalf of business lines
- Assist Clients on educational and factual based best practices.
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
- Screen and direct communication and distribute correspondence.
- Address all situations with a high level of confidentiality and discreetness.
- Attend and participate in the weekly Administrative Team Meeting
- Work on special projects as requested by the Leadership Team
