High Profile has partnered with a prestigious global investment firm to find an Assistant Tax Director for its high-performing Uptown Dallas office. This is an in-office position offering the opportunity to work closely with top financial professionals across the US and abroad.
If you’re a CPA with 10+ years of progressive tax experience - including significant work in public accounting with financial services/hedge fund clients or extensive tax consulting experience within the financial services industry supporting fund investments - this role offers an exceptional path to expand your impact within a firm known for excellence, collaboration, and long-term career growth.

- High-Visibility Leadership Role: Partner directly with senior leadership and influence key tax strategy decisions.
- Provide high-level tax consulting on fund investments and advise on complex matters across U.S. and foreign jurisdictions.
- Oversee preparation and review of U.S. and international tax returns with accuracy and insight.
- Manage Form 1099 and 1042 reporting and tax depreciation processes.
- Monitor ASC 740 tax exposure and ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with accounting, legal, operations, and external advisors to design and implement effective tax structures.
- Stay ahead of regulatory and industry developments to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax efficiency.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (GPA 3.5+)
- Active CPA
- 10+ years of relevant tax experience:
- Public accounting tax experience with Financial Services or Hedge Fund clients
OR - Tax consulting experience within the Financial Services industry supporting fund investments
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
