About Alternatives Capital Formation (ACF)ACF manages capital raising and strategy across the full spectrum of alternatives including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, sustainability, secondaries, GP stakes, hedge funds and liquid alternatives. It collaborates across sector and strategy to deliver a comprehensive alternatives investment offering and partners with Goldman Sachs professionals across institutional client solutions, investing teams and wealth management.
About Investor Relations (IR)IR provides client service to limited partners, including reporting solutions across their alternative portfolio. It works closely with product specialists to understand business needs and deliver a cohesive investment experience.
Principal Responsibilities- Client Service. Support and respond to investors, engage with existing investors on regular portfolio updates, ongoing requests, and tracking.
- Investor Reporting. Produce and update investor materials including holdings summaries, performance and data analysis, and analyze specific cashflow projections and capital activity.
- Communication. Engage directly with product specialists on effective messages for investors about relevant updates in the fund portfolio.
- Fund Reporting. Support quarterly fund reporting with a deep understanding of performance drivers and fund allocations.
- Capital Activity. Inform and support investors through capital activity cycles.
- Collaboration. Collaborate with stakeholders across ACF, fund finance, legal, and compliance to develop and deliver a seamless investor experience.
- Educate. Track and maintain relevant content based on historical client requests to support proactive future client service.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication (written and oral), analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Strong judgement and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Attention to detail with proven experience delivering high levels of accuracy.
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills to manage production of a high volume of quality work within tight time frames, often including multiple simultaneous projects.
- Teamwork orientation and self‑motivation, demonstrating willingness to take on more responsibility over time.
- Background in alternatives client service and reporting related roles.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar or related role; previous experience in alternative investing also applicable.
