Job DescriptionState and Local Tax Senior Manager, responsibilities include performing tax research on state and local tax matters such as tax planning, implementation, due diligence and state tax controversies with state jurisdictions. You will demonstrate strong leadership and mentorship skills, work directly with clients, and lead the tax engagement team in a dynamic growth environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- CPA or JD/LLM required
- 8+ years minimum of tax experience in public accounting with a state and local tax focus
- Strong research, writing, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships
- Willing to work overtime during busy season and as required
- Demonstrated ability and desire to perform in a high-energy, dynamic environment
- Having some review and supervisory experience is a plus, but not required

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors considered in compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differential at the location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ - $ per year.
