Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Associate; Lateral

An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking a lateral associate to join its Restructuring and Special Situations Finance practice in Dallas.

This role is well-suited for an associate with experience in restructuring, distressed finance, or complex credit transactions who is interested in sophisticated, high-stakes matters involving financially distressed borrowers and special situations.

The associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on a range of restructuring and special situations finance matters, including distressed financings, debtor-in-possession facilities, rescue financings, and related transactions. The practice offers meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and involvement in complex, time-sensitive matters.

• Prior experience in restructuring, bankruptcy, or complex finance transactions
• Exposure to distressed debt, special situations, or DIP financings preferred
• Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable managing matters with increasing autonomy in fast-moving situations
• Admitted in Texas or eligible to waive in
