The firm is a lower middle market private equity fund headquartered in Dallas, Texas that focuses exclusively on partnering with privately held manufacturing companies in North America. The firm focuses on situations where it can draw upon its deep operational and management experience to support senior management in driving significant value creation through operational and strategic partnership. The firm is currently investing out of a ~$300 million dollar fund, and typically targets investments in businesses with EBITDA of $5–$20 million.

About

the Role

Associates work side-by-side with senior team members and senior portfolio company personnel to execute a variety of transactional and operational initiatives. Professionals typically split their time between transactional, strategic, and operational duties.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining financial and operational models
  • Conducting due diligence on new potential investments and their associated industries
  • Drafting investment committee presentation materials
  • Executing transactions (including transaction structuring, documentation, and financing)
  • Interacting with prospective management teams and third parties to develop investment theses, growth outlooks, and value creation plans to drive investment alpha
  • Monitoring portfolio companies and assisting with reporting to board of directors
  • Driving evaluation of prospective add-on acquisition targets and execute add-on transactions
  • Budgeting, planning, and ad hoc analyses to evaluate operational and strategic initiatives
  • Assisting portfolio company management with strategic projects and initiatives
Qualifications
  • 1-4 years of investment banking, strategy/operational consulting, or other hands-on operating experience
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated high performance in multidisciplinary work experience and education
  • Must have team player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects
  • Desire to live and work in Dallas, TX
