Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

You will be part of a highly and globally respected team to resolve complex matters involving forensic accounting, economic damages, and financial investigations. You will be an integral part of the team to evaluate the cause and financial impact relating to merger and acquisition issues.

You will be working with and helping the largest and most respected global insurance companies and their counsel to understand the impact of insured mergers & acquisitions and other insured transactional claims. The efforts include forensic accounting and consulting, and the determination of financial damages. Working as a partner to our clients by building consultative relationships you will develop an in-depth understanding of the client, the industry and the individual matters to address key issues, from the big picture to the smallest details.

You will develop your analyses, findings, and insights along with the team. Relying on your initiative and flexibility to deliver results in an agile and collaborative team environment, you will build strong relationships with your colleagues, our clients, and legal counsel. Some of the main responsibilities are:

  • Managing, sorting through and analyzing significant volumes of data and other information
  • Assist in developing and evaluating, claims, damages and calculations
  • Analyze existing financial models and other analyses to determine business valuations and damages
  • Create new financial models based on business issues or transactions being analyzed
  • Assist with drafting reports and findings including the preparation of tables, exhibits, and charts
  • Performing reviews of and evaluating expert submissions
  • Assisting with researching technical and industry specific issues
  • Documenting assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information used for analyses
  • Assisting with the drafting of client deliverables using Microsoft Excel, Word,…
