Vaco is working with a global holding company with multiple entities that are relocating all corporate functions to Dallas and is looking to onboard a Financial Analyst. The new CFO and CAO are both legacy clients exclusively working with us to fill this role.
This role will be heavily involved in revenue, margin and cost analysis as well as smaller items for one of their largest business units. Analysts need to be able to work with financial models, sift through and develop actionable insights on large sets of data and deal with lots of ad hoc projects.
Compensation: $80-85K + bonus
Day-to-Day- Perform detailed financial analysis to support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and support strategic planning.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic reforecasting processes.
- Analyze key financial metrics and trends, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and validate assumptions.
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals and journal entry preparation.
- Monitor and report on departmental and project-level budgets versus actuals.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and investment decisions.
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
