Collateral Analyst

Job Title: Mortgage Specialist/Collateral Analyst

Duration: Full-Time Perm Role

Position Description:

As a Collateral Analyst, you will be a member of the Fixed Income Team responsible for receiving and analysing physical collateral data necessary to support the residential lending business. As a member of the team, you will play a critical role by maintaining essential data and providing the necessary reporting to clients, accountants, and internal team members and management.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyse custodial data to determine critical exceptions
• Review collateral image data to identify the correct documents
• Work with sellers and the custodian to clear outstanding exceptions
• Ensure accurate reporting is sent to internal and external parties

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in the mortgage industry with a strong preference of experience working with collateral
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work in varied systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with attention to detail
