We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Universal Banker. You will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer experience by providing a range of financial services and solutions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing excellent customer service, and has a strong understanding of banking products.

• Offer the Bank’s deposit products and services to new prospects and existing clients.
• Determine client needs through effective needs analysis.
• Conduct product and solution presentations to prospective and existing clients.
• Provide disclosures as required by Truth in Savings, privacy and client identification program information.
• Explain policies and procedures relating to expedited funds availability, electronic funds transfers, check cashing and cash-back on deposits, etc.
• Understand and review the various ownership classifications under the FDIC, as needed.
• Complete, prepare and disseminate the necessary documentation to open/close/maintain accounts and satisfy KYC/KYB requirements.
• Ensure the client receives the appropriate evidence of account documents, deposit receipts, etc.
• Keep in periodic contact with existing clients. Find ways to strengthen existing relationships through additional products and improved service.
• Follow up by telephone or written correspondence to new or existing clients to uncover referral and service opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements such as AML and BSA.
• Handle client deposits, withdrawals, account transfers, loan payments and miscellaneous product and service transactions.
• Process transaction account deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other teller transactions.
• Process various loan transactions.
• Balance cash, on-balance and other checks, check disbursements and journals on a daily basis.
• Replenish or sell cash to vault as required.
• Process mail and night depository transactions.
• Determine client needs and assist or direct to appropriate department as needed.
• Respond to client inquiries and direct to appropriate department, as needed.
• Actively participate in team meetings.
• Perform other duties, as assigned and required.

Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

• High School diploma or equivalent, required
• Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Comprehensive understanding of banking operations.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Previous experience in commercial and/or community banking a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the banking industry.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and efficiency in transaction processing.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
