About the Role

Orchard Mortgage is an affiliate of Orchard, dedicated to offering mortgage services to Orchard’s real estate customers to provide a seamless home buying transaction. Orchard Mortgage emphasizes a culture of improvement, transparency, and teamwork.

We provide you with leads from top-producing agents in our markets. Your role is to build excellent relationships with Orchard Agents and Orchard customers, to win their future loan business through the services and offerings we provide (such as free refinances for life). You are not required to bring your own leads but may bring your own leads and relationships and offer the same products and services we provide.

This is a full-time remote role that reports to the Mortgage Sales Manager. It is expected to be based in the Greater DFW area and to attend agent networking events such as Orchard happy hours and agent training once a month.

• Consult with clients about current needs and financing solutions to help them achieve their financial goals, including Orchard Mortgage’s offerings such as the Equity Advance loan.
• Build strong relationships with Orchard’s real estate agents and collaborate to create a great home buying experience for customers.
• Serve as the go-to person for all home financing needs for customers or agents, including being the expert on our Equity Advance loan and Move First offering.
• Close a high percentage of captive leads and manage a pipeline of at least 10-15 loans per month, primarily purchases with some refinances.
• Collaborate with other teams across the Orchard ecosystem in Real Estate and Title Operations to ensure the best customer outcomes.
• Support weekend coverage once per month to provide customer support during weekends.

• At least 3+ years of lending experience with an active NMLS license or registered (Texas required).
• Strong consultative sales skills to help customers achieve the best financial outcome and understand available programs.
• A passion for customer service and relationship building, keeping customers and agents informed even after hours or on weekends.
• Deep knowledge of guidelines pertaining to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA with the ability to provide high-quality pre-approvals/pre-qualifications (bonus if familiar with non-QM programs and renovation/construction loans).
• Technology savvy with the ability to learn and work with new systems; preference for experience with Blend and Byte (or similar systems).
