Real Estate Financial Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Real Estate Financial Analyst for a well-known and respected Dallas based real estate company to support financial analysis, reporting, and investment evaluation for a portfolio of commercial real estate assets. This role will partner closely with asset management, leasing, and senior leadership teams to deliver financial insights, budgeting support, and valuation analysis that drive informed decision-making.
This position pays 95K-105K+Bonus.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review property-level and portfolio-level financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including annual budgets, reforecasts, and variance analysis
- Build and maintain financial models using ARGUS Enterprise to evaluate lease structures, cash flows, and investment performance
- Perform lease-level analysis, including IRR and cash flow calculations, to support leasing decisions and deal evaluations
- Prepare and maintain lease abstracts, ensuring critical lease terms are accurately captured and reflected in financial models
- Review third-party appraisals and Broker Opinions of Value (BOVs), analyze assumptions, and compare results to internal underwriting models
- Assist with investment, refinancing, acquisition, and disposition analyses as needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally with asset management, leasing, and accounting teams to support asset-level performance and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
- Prior experience as a financial analyst within commercial real estate or a related industry
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, advanced formulas, and pivot tables
- Hands-on experience with ARGUS Enterprise strongly preferred
- Experience reviewing financial statements and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Familiarity with lease abstraction and lease-level financial analysis, including IRR calculations
- Exposure to appraisal and BOV review is a plus
