Tax Consultant

Tatum has been made aware of an immediate need for an experienced Tax Consultant to join their entrepreneurial environment. The role will be roughly a 6-month project focused on tax planning and strategy and will work directly with ownership to maximize tax strategy. More details as follows:

Duties:

• Develop one, three, and five year tax plans for the company and related entities
• Develop tax strategy focused on preventing surprises, harvesting losses
• Maximize tax structure to take advantage of current and future scenarios
• Manage 1031 (Like-Kind) exchanges for roughly 100 LLC's across the company
• Prepare and take advantage of future and current opportunities
• Work closely with the CFO to build out tax strategy and review outside firms recommendations

Requirements:

• 7+ years of tax experience at the advisory level
• Availability for interim assignment over a 6-month period
• Entrepreneurial experience with multi-unit and multi-entity activities
• CPA preferred
• In-office availability in Dallas, TX ideal
