CFO & Head of Capital Markets

Our client acquires raw land, designs a concept plan, and completes the entitlement process in residential, mixed-use, industrial, retail, and hospitality.

Job Description :

The CFO & Head of Capital Markets will serve as a key executive and strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for all financial operations and capital markets initiatives. This dual‑role executive will oversee all financial operations, lead capital raising efforts, and manage investor relations for a growing land development company launching a real estate investment fund.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will drive the company’s financial vision, manage capital strategy, and build a high‑performing finance and capital markets team (up to six members).

Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute a fundraising strategy for new or existing real estate development funds.

• Manage due diligence processes and investor onboarding.

• Lead financial strategy, forecasting, modeling, and reporting for development projects and corporate operations.

• Manage CRM systems to track investor pipeline, capital commitments, and outreach activity.

• Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing finance and capital markets team.

Compensation & Benefits :

• Base = $175,000 to $225,000

• Variable Commission = performance‑based / profit‑sharing / equity participation

• Projected Year One Earnings :
Monthly company stipend : $250 per employee + $250 per dependent

• 2 weeks vacation plus standard national holidays
