Controller Consultant

As a Controller Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients with challenging projects and delivering effective financial processes and controls that support business objectives and operational needs.

What You Will Work On

• Collaborate closely with Finance Directors and key business leaders to support and drive financial objectives, make strategic recommendations, and act as a true business partner to leadership.
• Manage the month-end accounting close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with US GAAP, and analyze financial data to identify issues, opportunities, and trends to aid decision-making.
• Establish and maintain a robust control environment to minimize business risks and exposures.
• Lead change management initiatives through coaching, training, and setting clear objectives to meet both short-term and long-term goals.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field required;
  Master’s Degree preferred.
• CPA, CMA, CFE, CIA certifications preferred.
• Over 10 years of professional experience in public accounting, consulting, or industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP; SEC reporting experience is a plus. Proficient with general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build relationships and foster trust across organizational levels.
• Experience with large ERP systems and advanced technical skills.
