The RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our Finance Team. This role will focus on key areas including financial reporting, debt compliance, affiliates and owner entities, distributions, and tax-related filings. The Staff Accountant will play a hands‑on role in preparing, reviewing, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data across multiple entities, while supporting compliance and reporting obligations.
This role will work closely with the Senior Operations Accountants and will report to the VP of Finance.
- General and subsidiary ledger maintenance
- Review coding and accuracy of monthly expense reports
- Compile, reconcile, and support monthly expense reporting for corporate credit cards
- Expense accruals, amortization entries, and prepaid expenses
- Bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
- Cash analysis for multiple bank accounts
- Capital call and distribution entries for investment fund
- Maintain monthly and/or quarterly reporting tasks
- Prepare account reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable
- Reconciliation of fund receivables and related invoicing
- Continuously improve operating procedures to maximize organization and efficiency of records
- Identify and collaborate with technology partners on system and process improvements
- Assist in quarterly tax filing deadlines, annual business and registrations through various jurisdictions
- Provide support for annual and interim audits
- Ad‑hoc reporting projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or progress toward certification preferred
- 3 years of accounting experience;
Financial Services/RIA/Partnership structure experience a plus - Solid understanding of A/P, GAAP, and multi‑entity accounting
- Strong Excel skills;
Net Suite and Expensify experience highly desirable - Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines independently
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment with evolving processes
