Senior Fund Accountant

We are a global alternative asset manager specializing in credit, private debt, and opportunistic investments, and we are expanding our Dallas office. We are seeking a Fund Accountant to support a growing credit and private debt fund platform.

This role offers hands‑on exposure to complex credit strategies and the opportunity to work closely with investment, operations, and external service providers in a fast‑paced, institutional environment.

• Lead day‑to‑day fund accounting for credit and private debt strategies, including monthly and quarterly closes
• Prepare and validate NAV calculations, general ledger entries, and detailed financial schedules
• Account for complex credit instruments, including syndicated loans, distressed debt, CLOs, and structured credit
• Coordinate with external administrators and review outsourced work for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare investor reporting and support capital activity, expense allocations, and audit deliverables
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (investments, operations, tax, and audit) to resolve accounting and operational matters
• Identify and drive process improvements as the platform continues to scale

• 3–5 years of fund accounting experience, with a strong preference for credit and/or private debt
• Comfortable working with complex instruments and detailed reconciliations
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset in a fast‑paced environment
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
