Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related major with graduation between December 2025 and June 2026
- Availability to start July 2026
- Strong analytical abilities and a deep understanding of financial statement analysis
- Fundamental knowledge of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
- Proficiency in Excel modeling, including integrated cash‑flow modeling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills
- Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Support portfolio valuation teams in valuing illiquid debt and equity securities for hedge funds, private equity funds, and business development companies
- Perform detailed financial statement analysis and other quantitative and qualitative assessments
- Review client investment memoranda, board presentations, debt and equity agreements, and financial models to understand the entities or securities under analysis
- Compile statistical summaries and financial ratios, and present findings using standard formats
- Research public company filings, press releases, analyst reports, and Bloomberg data across industries and sectors
- Identify comparable public companies and M&A transactions using S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and other information services
- Construct and review valuation analyses, including guideline public companies, precedent transactions, and discounted cash‑flow models using proprietary firm models
- Provide research on macroeconomic conditions, industry trends, and investment attributes of securities
- Participate in due diligence meetings, communicate with clients, and address auditor queries concerning valuation analyses
- Design and draft client deliverables and assist in preparing fee proposals and pitch materials
- Perform ad‑hoc research and analytics to support project teams as required
- Coordinate with administrative support for engagement invoicing and compliance procedures
- Engage with in‑house and outside legal counsel as needed
- Assist with marketing initiatives for prospective and existing clients
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive total compensation ranging from $75,000 to $110,000, with actual salary based on qualifications, skills, and location. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including discretionary incentive compensation where applicable.
