Responsibilities

RFM manages several investment vehicles that acquire, renovate, and operate multifamily properties, with approximately 10,000 units owned across these investment vehicles today, with plans to acquire an additional 5,000 units over the next 3 years. The investment vehicles target multifamily opportunities in high‑growth, primary and secondary markets throughout the Sun Belt, with each opportunity having a distinct business plan that includes some degree of value enhancement.

The Analyst will support RFM’s asset management team in Dallas to directly oversee capital spend, monitor operational performance, and create value at the property level, as well as provide accurate, informative, and efficient portfolio‑level reporting.

  • Perform monthly financial review and analysis.
  • Develop ad hoc Excel models to evaluate operational efficiency or examine potential value‑add initiatives.
  • Author comprehensive quarterly analyses discussing the actual performance of the assets to underwriting and budget.
  • Participate in the strategic direction of the assets as it relates to pricing, value‑add premiums, expense control, etc.
  • Provide review and oversight of annual budgets, monthly variance analyses, monthly market surveys, quarterly return‑on‑investment calculations, etc.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (graduates from the Class of 2025).
  • 0–1+ years of experience in investment banking, real‑estate or other related fields.
  • Strong quantitative, financial analysis and modeling skills are required.
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization are necessary to succeed in a fast‑paced environment where the Analyst will be required to manage multiple projects with significant responsibilities and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels are keys to success t be able to work well in groups but also take ownership of tasks.
  • Attention to detail as well as a strong desire to grow and succeed is critical.
  • Candidates with a passion for real‑estate, an active entrepreneurial mind, and a strong work ethic will excel and should look forward to joining a growing company that is on the cutting edge of real‑estate investing.
  • Travel may be required on a quarterly basis for owned assets.
