Finance Manager

Finance Manager Dallas, TX – hybrid, 2–3 days onsite

Vaco has partnered with a rapidly growing PE‑backed retail organization to identify a Finance Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role due to recent acquisitions and continued expansion, offering broad exposure across both corporate FP&A and operations finance.

The company has a casual, flexible culture and operates in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. This role reports directly to the Controller/CFO and works closely with senior leadership, providing visibility and influence at the highest levels.

$140k–160K total comp (base + bonus)

• Manage and analyze monthly financial and operational reporting across multiple business units
• Support regional business leaders with key insights into sales performance, gross margins, and staffing costs
• Lead corporate FP&A initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning
• Prepare board decks and financial presentations for executive and investor review
• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, providing strategic recommendations to leadership
• Assist with financial system implementations (Net Suite and POS) and drive process improvements for reporting efficiency
• Partner with cross‑functional teams on ad hoc analysis and high‑impact strategic projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 8–10 years of progressive finance experience across corporate and operational finance
• Retail industry experience required
• Experience working in a private equity–backed or fast‑growing environment highly preferred
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills;
  Net Suite experience a plus
• Strong executive presence and communication skills; ability to work directly with C‑suite leaders
