Individual Financial Consultant Multi-lingual

The Individual Financial Consultant (IFC) provides retirement education and advice to the organization's clients and prospects. This role helps individuals navigate and, where appropriate, provides advice related to qualified and non-qualified product and investment needs. Working under general supervision, this job is responsible for asset growth, applicable plan advice, referrals, voice of the client surveys and other goals ensuring a good client experience.

All licenses must be obtained within 120 days from start date.

Key Responsibilities And Duties
  • Takes inbound calls from both internal partners and clients to help identify product and investment needs.
  • Determines where client has a need and creates or manages associated opportunity to a won or lost sale.
  • Provides advice or educates clients related to investment, advice, product concerns related to individual retirement accounts (IRAs), retirement (pension enrollments), after tax annuities (ATA), retirement planning, and retirement income.
  • Possesses solid understanding of the organization’s digital new account opening requirements and processes to assist clients through this process.
  • Develops and maintains a pipeline of sales opportunities to ensure clients complete all steps to open and fund an account, including helping clients with funding, rollovers, NIGOs or any other barriers to establishing an account.
  • Meets or exceeds several goals that have a direct impact on client acquisition and retention including but not limited to referral generation, asset growth goals, product education, voice of the client surveys, advice sessions and solutions, and overall productivity.

Compensation

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
