Product Specialist – Non-QM/Non-Agency (Remote)

This role reviews and approves all non‑QM/non‑agency programs used by the organization. It supports mortgage production by providing expert loan structuring, product guidance, and training. The Product Specialist is the key link between sales, operations, and product teams, helping structure loans, grow market share, and strengthen the value proposition across all product types.

• Review requests and contracts; prepare applications for potential wholesale investors and make recommendations to senior management.
• Communicate and train branch personnel regarding appropriate company product programs.
• Remain current on all product programs and provide updates to branch personnel as applicable.
• Maintain and update information on the company portal with regard to programs.
• Partner directly with MI companies to resolve underwriting issues or concerns.
• Maintain a professional image and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

• High School Diploma required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of product development experience within the mortgage industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Effective interaction with various levels within the organization.
• Detail orientation, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate judgment and decision‑making.
• Strong customer service orientation and time management.
• Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
