What you will do:

• Lead all tax strategy, planning, compliance, and risk management for a highly complex portfolio

• Oversee tax matters across multi‑entity and multi‑state structures, including operating businesses, investments, and real estate

• Direct tax planning related to income, estate, gift, and philanthropic strategies

• Manage tax compliance for a broad range of return types, including individual, partnership, trust, and foundation filings

• Advise senior leadership on complex tax issues and serve as the primary tax subject‑matter expert

• Oversee tax audits, notices, and communication with federal and state taxing authorities

• Ensure tax strategy aligns with overall financial, investment, and estate objectives

• Provide hands‑on technical expertise while managing internal and external tax resources

What qualifications you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CPA strongly preferred

• 10+ years of progressive tax experience

• Background in complex tax environments such as family offices, investment firms, or Big 4 advisory

• Deep technical expertise in multi‑entity, multi‑state, and multi‑generational tax structures

• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels
