Financial Controller @ High Growth Distribution & Service Firm

We're working with a High‑Growth Consumer and Distribution Services Firm. They are seeking a Controller within one of their Business Units. This professional will lead with Executive Sales Leadership and corporate teams. Responsibilities include all financial transactions (accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, asset acquisitions), audit assistance, and financial systems implementations.

• Lead Month‑End Financial Accounting Transactions including GL and monthly financial packages
• Drive budgeting and forecasting for monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial reports
• Forecast, monitor and track cash flow reports while identifying and evaluating variances
• Create and manage accounting policies as well as oversee revenue recognition
• Evaluate, develop, implement, and document new accounting policies and procedures in response to changes
• Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for accurate and timely financial data analysis, ensuring best practices
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results, undertaking additional special projects as requested by the CAO and Financial Transformation Team
• Manage and supervise accounting staff

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a must
• 8+ years accounting experience in Manufacturing, Service Companies, or Distributions; public accounting experience is a plus
• CPA preferred
• Very strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Project Accounting, Percentage Completion, Financial Systems, and Revenue Recognition
• Team management and staff development experience
