In this role, you will review policies and procedures and perform independent testing activities (testing and on-going monitoring) to assess the design and effectiveness of key processes and controls designed to address state and federal compliance, escalating control gaps or deficiencies, any violations of law, and non-adherence to enterprise-wide policy, as well as validating adequacy of remediation taken to address identified issues.
As a Sr. Advisor you will have an increased level of responsibility to conduct reviews independently, conduct more complex reviews, leading reviews in conjunction with other testers, working cross-functionally, conduct validations, prepare audit or exam requests, or train other less experienced testers.

- Document test scope and objectives associated with the review and the control activities being tested.

- Hold weekly meetings with the LOB during testing to clarify processes and present results of testing to date (including receipt and review of responses from the LOB).
- Prepare test presentations that effectively communicate testing results (findings and observations), root cause and recommendations.
- Hold preliminary exit and final exit meetings with the business and key stakeholders to obtain agreement on issues, review ratings, and finalize recommendations.
- Prepare and maintain organized, clear, complete, and conclusive work papers that are audit ready.
- Prepare and write clear and effective reports to provide to stakeholders; define management actions plans with stakeholders to address findings.
- Track CTU findings from discovery to remediation and conduct validation of management actions plans.
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of key controls to address compliance requirements and elevate control deficiencies.
- Develop and execute the CTU Plan to monitor for compliance with rules, laws, and regulations.
- Participating in the development and enhancement of the CTU Methodologies and Standards for testing, monitoring, and reporting.
- Developing effective relationships within CTU and with other stakeholders including business and technology process owners and Internal Audit.
- Promoting knowledge sharing and promulgation of best practices across CTU and the business.
