Join Houlihan Lokey as a Summer 2027 Financial Analyst in our Transaction Advisory Services group. The role focuses on accounting and financial reporting advisory for buy‑side, sell‑side, restructuring and capital‑raising engagements.

Our Transaction Advisory Services group is staffed by former Big Four CPAs and accounting professionals working across all industry verticals.
- Accounting majors – Master or Bachelor of Accountancy (or dual accounting and finance majors) with a final graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
- Coursework in accounting and finance; eligible for CPA licensure upon graduation
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; we are not sponsoring employment visas at this time
- Strong analytical abilities and financial and computer skills (Excel / PowerPoint in particular)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team‑player and cooperative work style
- Basic knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Participate in buy‑side, sell‑side, restructuring, and capital‑raising transaction advisory engagements
- Draft and review analyses and findings for delivering unbiased advice to management and inclusion in transaction advisory reports on key technical issues
- Research technical guidance and market practices around accounting and financial reporting issues
- Review transaction agreements, customer and supplier contracts
- Support discussions with senior client executives and management
- Support diligence projects through fieldwork, management meetings, and desktop reviews
- Communicate potential external audit risks and considerations when applying technical accounting guidance and structuring
- Develop professional network and relationships with firm, client and target professionals
- Collaborate closely with corporate finance, valuation, and financial restructuring colleagues
Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing competitive total compensation. The estimated salary range for this role is $70,000.00–$. Actual salary at the time of hire may vary based on relevant qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as the service line and location where this position may be filled.
