Position Overview

Investment Sales Analyst
, Dallas, TX – full‑time on‑site, near‑term start date.

The role is part of a high‑performing multifamily brokerage team. The analyst will tour properties, collect and analyze financial and operational data, develop marketing strategies, and support senior team members in client presentations. The position requires a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented professional who can work both independently and collaboratively, and who is willing to work extended hours when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Underwrite income‑producing assets using Excel, including financial modeling and sensitivity analysis.
  • Analyze historical operating statements, budgets, leases, and loan agreements, and assess current market conditions to determine underwriting assumptions.
  • Review, abstract, and interpret various real‑estate documents.
  • Identify critical property‑level financial issues and recommend value‑add opportunities.
  • Create property evaluations and sensitivity analyses.
  • Develop compelling narratives to showcase investment opportunities to industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide materials that enable top producers to generate new relationships and track critical data points for research and business development.
  • Present analytical results in formal client settings to audiences with varying financial acumen.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends to enhance valuation accuracy and marketing strategies.
  • Communicate directly with capital markets professionals, property managers, asset managers, and principals to resolve underwriting inconsistencies and address property‑specific issues.
Qualifications
  • Four‑year college degree; majors in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related business areas preferred.
  • 1–2 years of relatable experience; financial analysis background required. CRE internship experience considered.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, take direction, and multitask under tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of finance analytical skills, including DCF, IRR, NPV, time‑value of money, ROI, and related underwriting principles.
  • Experience valuing income‑producing properties is a plus.
  • Analytical competence in reviewing financial statements, loan documents, deeds of trust, and other real‑estate documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of internal and external parties.
  • Attention to detail, organizational ability, and capacity to manage multiple assignments with changing priorities.
  • Team player with strong work ethic and passion for commercial real‑estate.
  • Intimate knowledge of Dallas and surrounding sub‑markets, and real‑estate trends is preferred.
  • Candidate may be required to provide a work sample to demonstrate skill level relevant to the role.
