Requirements/QualificationsPrescott Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Acquisitions Analyst to join our dynamic investment team. This individual will play a critical role in sourcing, underwriting, and executing new investment opportunities across a variety of asset classes and capital structures. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of real estate fundamentals, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and underwrite real estate investment opportunities across multiple asset types.
- Build and maintain robust financial models, including cash flow projections, scenario analyses, and key return metrics (IRR, equity multiple, NPV).
- Conduct market research and demographic analysis to assess the viability of potential investments.
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal committees and capital partners.
- Assist in all phases of the due diligence process, including review of financials, property inspections, legal documentation, and third-party reports.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, brokers, lenders, legal counsel, and third-party vendors to support deal execution.
- Track and report on portfolio performance and identify opportunities for value creation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, private equity, investment banking, or a related investment discipline.
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Argus Enterprise or comparable valuation software preferred.
- Familiarity with industry tools such as CoStar, Real Capital Analytics, Trepp, and Real Page is a plus.
- Experience working with large data sets for market analysis and deal sourcing is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Acrobat AI Assistant) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to distill complex information.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
