* Key Responsibilities:

**
* • Structure, price, and execute a variety of commodity derivative products (e.g., swaps, collars, etc,..)  
• Focus will initially be on energy (CL and NG) and expand over time  
• Engage clients directly to discuss hedging strategies, and provide concrete recommendations, based on their unique business needs and capital structure  
• In addition to marketing / structuring, execute trades (hedges) in the market as necessary  
• Develop and maintain a significant presence with the TCB Banking team, to identify and capitalize on new leads and deepen existing client relationships  
• Work with various internal teams – bankers, relationship managers, back office operations, and others – to effectively manage the full trade lifecycle, from initial inception, through closing and trade execution, and beyond  
• Assist other internal teams in ensuring trade confirmations, payments, and other materials are executed adequately, to manage client expectations and adhere to regulatory requirements  
• Help construct pitch decks, regular market commentary, and other materials as needed for external clients and internal business partners  
• Help train and develop junior front office staff

* Qualifications:

**
* • Ten to fifteen (10-15) years’ minimum experience marketing commodity derivatives within a regional or global investment bank  
• Must possess a deep understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics, curve construction, derivative valuation (delta 1 and non-linear), and various pricing methodologies and hedging strategies  
• Must be technical in nature, but able to articulate complex subjects in a manner that is easy to comprehend  
• Must be familiar with ISDA documentation, CSAs, credit underwriting, and all relevant regulatory guidelines  
• Must be comfortable researching and analyzing a client’s current financial state, and crafting / recommending / explaining appropriate derivative structures to fit the clients’ specific needs and goals  
• Will require light traveling, (~10-30%, or as needed)  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and fluid environment  
• Preferred experience in building a commodity hedge desk at a regional or super regional bank  
• Must be highly ethical, positive, and intellectually curious, with strong oral and written communication skills  
• The ability to remain calm and operate effectively under pressure, and a high degree of organization and attention to detail are imperative  
• The title of this position may be either a Managing Director or Executive Director, depending on experience
