Environmental Intern Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, natural resources management, or related field;
  Pursuing a master’s degree is a bonus
• Great communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Proficiency with ArcGIS, CADD and/or GPS technology is a plus
• Excellent research, analytical, and written and oral communication skills
• Positive attitude, initiative, and ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams

• The average tenure of Halff's Environmental team leaders is 10 years.

• Electric transmission line routing studies and expert testimony
• GIS geodatabase development

• Public involvement
• Threatened/endangered species surveys and relocation
• Wetland delineation and Section 404/10 permitting and mitigation
