The Water/Wastewater team is looking for an experienced hydraulic modeling engineer to perform hydraulic modeling and master planning from conception to completion. Responsibilities include process design calculations, population and demand projections, report writing, client meetings, CAD/modeling work, technical analysis, construction documents, research, and technical reporting for wastewater collection and treatment projects, as well as water supply, storage, treatment, and distribution.

• Provide high‑level project design and review of project documents and design quality for complex projects.
• Serve as a technical specialist, applying advanced engineering concepts and developing approaches to solve complex problems.
• Perform QA/QC and ensure delivery of completed designs meets quality standards and project objectives.
• Conduct research in areas of considerable scope and complexity.
• Advise and direct staff on design approaches to fulfill project requirements.
• Collaborate to promote efficiencies and produce high quality work.
• Contribute to the development of standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities within the team.
• Supervise and review technical assignments of less experienced staff, and assist with mentoring and development of junior staff.
• Help build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring our projects meet and exceed client expectations.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or a related field.
• Understanding of water and wastewater master planning process.
• Solid understanding of open channel and closed pipe hydraulics.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro mapping software.
• 10+ years of experience with water and sewer modeling software such as Info Works ICM, Sewer
  
  GEMS, Water
  
  GEMS, Info Water Pro, and/or Water
  
  CAD.

Colorado Pay Range: $116,000 - $173,000 USD.

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.
