Overview

We are partnering with a growing OEM automotive client to hire a Project Engineer who will lead programs from concept to production. This role is ideal for engineers with a strong background in automotive project management, OEM collaboration, and cross‑functional team leadership.

Key Skills & Requirements
  • Automotive Industry

    Experience:

    3–4 years in automotive engineering
  • OEM

    Experience:

    Direct interaction with OEM customers required
  • Project Management:
    Strong planning, scheduling, and execution skills
  • Quality Engineering:
    Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, design validation, and engineering change management preferred
  • Design Engineering:
    Hands‑on CAD (Solid Works, CATIA, or equivalent) experience preferred
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Mechanical design, engineering analysis, product lifecycle management
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required)
  • Licensing:
    Professional Engineer (P.E.) license highly preferred
  • Travel:
    Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Soft Skills:

    Cross‑functional collaboration, customer communication, problem solving, leadership, attention to detail
Responsibilities
  • Lead cross‑functional automotive engineering projects from design to production launch
  • Serve as the engineering interface with OEM clients
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and technical deliverables
  • Support design reviews, validation testing, APQP processes, and engineering changes
  • Ensure quality standards and customer requirements are consistently met
  • Drive process improvements and document engineering decisions
