About the Role
This position leads the planning, design, and permitting for large-scale data center and industrial land development projects throughout the region. The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary technical authority, ensuring that complex site civil requirements meet the rigorous standards of the mission-critical industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and oversight of engineering documents including reports, specifications, and design plans for high-power industrial sites
- Manage project life cycles using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to oversee grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure
- Evaluate soil composition, hydrological characteristics, and topographical data to mitigate risks for mission-critical facilities
- Direct collaborative teams to ensure project milestones are met within budget and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with local and state agencies to navigate complex permitting processes for large-scale developments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
- 7 to 10 years of experience in site/civil design with a focus on data centers or heavy industrial projects
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Expertise in stormwater management, grading, and site planning for large-footprint facilities
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
Pay range and compensation package
$135,000 to $165,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience
