From electric vehicles to wind turbines, their materials play a vital role in building a more sustainable future.
This role is well suited for a Project Engineer who has supported or led electrical scopes for capital projects through the full project lifecycle. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing electrical infrastructure and equipment installations from early design and procurement through construction, commissioning, and close‑out. You will work closely with engineering, operations, contractors, and equipment suppliers to deliver complex industrial electrical systems safely, on schedule, and within budget.

- Review and interpret electrical drawings, one‑lines, schematics, and equipment specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements
- Support equipment procurement, including technical bid evaluations, vendor coordination, and factory acceptance testing (FAT)
- Coordinate installation activities with contractors, ensuring compliance with design, safety standards, and applicable codes (NEC, NFPA, etc.)
- Identify and manage project risks, changes, and technical issues related to electrical scope, supporting mitigation and resolution
- Maintain project documentation including schedules, RFIs, submittals, electrical test records, and turnover packages
- Support commissioning, startup, and energization activities, including troubleshooting and ensuring successful handover to operations
- Participate in early project development activities such as electrical load studies, equipment selection, constructability reviews, and cost estimates
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience supporting electrical scope for industrial capital projects within manufacturing, energy, mining, oil & gas, or heavy process environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting projects from design or FEED through construction and commissioning
- Strong technical capability reviewing electrical drawings, power distribution systems, and equipment packages
- Experience coordinating contractors and vendors during electrical installation and commissioning
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems such as switch gear, transformers, MCCs, VFDs, motors, and instrumentation
- Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally in fast‑paced project environments
In return, you’ll join a rapidly growing organization executing high‑impact capital projects that support the global energy transition. The role offers meaningful ownership over critical electrical infrastructure, exposure to complex industrial projects, and a competitive compensation package including bonus, benefits, and paid time off.
