We’re supporting an established & profitable E&P operator with a search for an experienced Production Engineer to support and optimize oil and gas well performance across their asset base. This role is responsible for analyzing production data, identifying performance improvement opportunities, and leading field enhancement and workover projects to maximize production safely and economically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze well and lease production data to diagnose performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify and evaluate workover candidates, prepare economic justifications (AFE), develop procedures, and oversee field execution.
  • Monitor and optimize chemical programs to mitigate scale, corrosion, and erosion.
  • Conduct LOE analysis and recommend cost improvement strategies.
  • Participate in new well flowback monitoring and ongoing well reviews with field personnel.
  • Collaborate with reservoir engineering, field teams, vendors, and consultants to improve production processes, equipment performance, and operating efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company EHS standards and promote safe operations.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend process improvements to enhance performance and reduce operating expenses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of production engineering experience, including unconventional assets, well workovers, and completions.
  • Experience in the Haynesville and/or Eagle Ford preferred.
  • Proficiency with production engineering tools such as ARIES, Spotfire, Nodal Analysis, Peloton/Well View, and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
